Dolphin BC2001B Velocity Hand Dryer

The Dolphin BC2001 Velocity hand dryer in a brushed stainless steel finish is an extremely effective, energy-efficient and adaptable hand dryer. The dryer is well suited to high-volume, high specification washrooms. The elegantly shaped and thick brushed satin cover, combined with a solid steel, anti-vandal backplate give this a robust form that is very difficult to damage. It is one of the fastest dryers on the market on maximum power settings, with a realistic 10-15 second dry time. The quality and lifespan of this dryer is backed up by the 5 year manufacturer's warranty.

A big advantage of the Dolphin BC2001, like the Mitusbishi SMART and Turboforce is that the speed of airflow can be adapted to the requirements of the location. The heater can also be switched either on or off. This allows large facilities like a school, office block or University to standardise a dryer but adjust the noise next to meeting rooms or libraries. It also allows the units to operate more efficiently in high traffic areas as the heater element and additional energy consumption that comes with it is less important when the dryer is in constant use.

There are four settings:

• Full power/heated - 1.6kw
• Full power/unheated - 0.7kw
• Reduced power/heated - 0.8kw
• Reduced power/unheated - 0.35kw

The maximum noise output is 77 dB(A) at 1 metre on full power and 72 dB(A) on the low speed setting
